Cyient is looking for an Ovation DCS System Administrator to work with our client's construction and startup of a nuclear power plant. You will be the on-site Ovation expert, overseeing the platform, loading software, troubleshooting issues, diagnose point database configuration issues, and solve any other Ovation platform issues.
This position will be located at the Vogtle site in Waynesboro, GA. The candidate must be able to report to the work location daily. This is a full time position for up t0 18 months, and extra hours/shift could be available.
You Will:

• Work primarily with the Ovation platform, including the ability to navigate displays, navigate control sheets, understand control logic and diagnose point database configuration issues.
• Load software (Points/Sheets/Displays) that have been released from an isolated development platform.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware (controllers, IO, etc), network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls), Ovation platform issues, complete full database wipe (-F) and reload, and perform system administrator functions such as account creation, security configuration, and rebuild failed workstations, drops and servers from bare metal equipment.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, functional logic diagrams and other I&C related documents.
• Ability to troubleshoot and isolate issues encountered during plant commissioning activities.
• Ability to install, commission and troubleshoot Modbus and Profibus-DP

You'll Need:

• Bachelors in Electrical or Instrumentation & Controls Engineering or a related field of study from an accredited college or university.
• 8+ total years of demonstrated, applicable experience in process, fossil and nuclear fields.
• Experience with Ovation DCS is required and Profibus/Modbus experience is preferred
• Experience with site commissioning in a nuclear power setting.
• Experience with DCSs, PLCs, HMIs and their requirements in a processpower industry
• US Citizenship or Green Card required; Must live or have ability to relocate near Waynesboro, GA
