Outpatient Therapist - With $5,000 Bonus

About the Position:

The Therapist collaborates with a multi-disciplinary care team to create an individualized recovery experience that incorporates the body, mind and spirit of each client. Provides individual and family therapy, group therapy, and case management services. Coordinates care with external providers and community partners such as: family members, primary care physicians, psychiatrists, outpatient programs, legal aids, family interventionists, university administrative staff, and employee assistance program representatives.

Schedule:

  • Monday: 9:00AM to 5:30PM
  • Tuesday 9:00AM to 5:30PM
  • Wednesday: 10:00AM to 6:30PM
  • Thursday: 9:00AM to 5:30PM
  • Friday: 9:00AM to 5:30PM

Compensation:

  • The base salary range for the position is $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
  • $5,000 retention bonus will be paid out after 12 months of full time work.

Your Role:

  • Comply with all federal, state and accreditation regulatory requirements.
  • Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments routinely or via intakes..
  • Complete monitored urinalysis of clients, ensuring accuracy in documentation and processing of specimen.
  • Understand group dynamics/processes, facilitate groups with a focus on integrated care and documents efforts via individualized progress notes.
  • Collaborate with family members, former providers and referral sources
  • Complete comprehensive clinical utilization reviews/authorizations for services on a regular basis and communicate all Insurance needs to Utilization Review Department.
  • Create a comprehensive and collaborative wellness plan, including referrals to Family Wellness Program, Psychiatric Services, etc. Utilize identified screening/assessment tools, stage-wise interventions and treatment models. Create a plan which considers the housing and therapeutic needs of the client to sustain or continue to develop a program of recovery.
  • Conduct therapeutic treatment utilizing best practices for group therapy, individual treatment, family treatment, case management and crisis intervention.
  • Maintain clinical chart via electronic medical records in accordance with agency and accreditation standards.
  • All documentation needs to be completed same day the service was given, Complete comprehensive clinical utilization reviews on a regular basis and communicate all Insurance needs to Utilization Review Department.
  • Participate in individual and group clinical supervision.
  • Attend trainings to improve clinical skills or as assigned by your supervisor, Provide In-Service trainings as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or related field required.
  • Hold one of the following CT licenses: LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
  • Experience and/or knowledge in substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders
  • Experience in outpatient level of care preferred
  • Experience with group therapy preferred
