Summary:The Orthodontic Assistant is responsible for providing support to an Orthodontist including patient care and chairside assistance.This position executes on treatment plans with patients and families.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Meet with patients, inquire about their braces experience, and any issues.
- Cleaning, sterilizing and set up of instruments and appliances.
- Prepare tooth impressions and assist in attachment of brackets, bans and wires.
- Assist with office duties including maintenance of patient records, ordering supplies, answering phones and scheduling appointments.
- Attention to detail and familiarity with patient software programs
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Travel to Exton and Elverson
- 1 year of Dental Assisting or Orthodontic Assistant experience preferred
