San Antonio Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is looking for an amazing Ortho Assistant.

Previous pediatric dental office experience would be helpful. The high priority candidate will have a great attitude and be a multi-tasker with a strong work ethic. Open Dental knowledge is a plus.

DA Job Duties:

Assist the orthodontist and follow through on treatment directions given.

Take photos and prep for ortho consults.

Set up and break down treatment rooms

Take patients’ medical history, blood pressure, and pulse

Properly load, operate, and clean all sterilizers and equipment using biologicals and chemical control tests

Know the office emergency exit plans.

Know the office emergency exit plans and location of eyewash stations.

Excellent customer service skills.

Excellent communication and computer skills.

Upbeat personality is a must.

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Clean, neat professional appearance.
