We are currently looking for a Change Management/Marketing Specialist to work with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA). This person will work out of the Broadway MTA office in New York, NY. Veteran candidates are highly preferred!

Position Scope

The EAM Program Management Office is seeking a consultant to support the new MTA EAM vision, mission, and strategic objectives by creating and supporting OCM efforts to increase transparency and create awareness about the MTA EAM efforts. In addition, the need for OCM support at the agency level has increased as the agencies move into the implementation of various beta and implementation efforts. Several agencies have no OCM support and need help with some OCM-related work, including increasing the visibility and buy in for their efforts agency wide, conducting the survey, developing resistance management plans, creating agency based OCM plans, engagement strategies, etc., to support the execution of their beta and implementation efforts.

Position Scope

  • Support the MTA OCM enterprise level initiatives led by the Dept. Dir OCM
  • Lead the creation, planning, and execution of the enterprise EAM rewards and recognition activates/events
  • Supporting enterprise communication efforts and leading some new communication efforts both internally and externally
  • Work with agency EAM leads to assess OCM communication and project support needs, create related plans and provide phased support
  • Monitor implementation process and execute surveys

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Preferred minimum of 7 years’ experience in Organizational Change Management
  • Strong/Advanced capabilities in creating and implementing Change Management strategies
  • Ability to multitasking and manage multiple projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment
  • Willing to independently set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, a self-starter
  • Experience in planning events, recognition programs, etc.
  • Proficiency in developing written communications, i.e., newsletters, stakeholder communications, project announcements, communications for digital media, etc.
  • Experience designing visually appealing communications
  • Able to collaborate and work with peers/supervisors at different levels of the organization
  • Willingness to work in the office or remotely, depending on the project needs.
  • Strong writing and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong communications and presentation skills

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience working with the MTA
  • Prior experience working directly for a public transit agency
  • Familiarity with complex construction projects in the transportation, military or government sectors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
