Job Overview

This position will be responsible for all activities related to OTM for the company and will provide the needed help to ensure, define, design, specify, test, train, implement, and support supply chain solutions.

What does your day look like? Some of your duties may include:

• Deep functional knowledge of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and the Transportation Industry – TL, LTL, Intermodal and Ocean
• Must have hands on setup and configuration experience working with Oracle Transportation rates – TL, LTL, Intermodal and Ocean
• Ability to configure and create multi-leg and multi-mode itineraries that support various methods of shipping
• Ability to manage, create, and maintain user roles, menu’s, screens, and security components for systematic user management
• High aptitude in business analysis, integration, testing, data management, and end-to-end process facilitation
• Develops and maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships
• Familiarity with supply chain, procurement, financial, and logistics business processes and concepts
• Solid understanding of end-to-end financial concepts, including but not limited to auto-pay, invoice matching, voucher creation, and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of carrier management and carrier tendering cycles, including CLM’s, EDI messages, tender notifications, and payment notifications
• Ability to manually configure rates and costs in Oracle Transportation Management for all shipment modes
• Experience with Oracle ERP, WMS preferred
• Experience with integrating with external systems – telematics and dispatching technologies in particular
• Ability to handle and migrate OTM specific customizations to other environments

• Ability to communicate effectively with accounting managers and co-workers and strong attention to detail.
• Good organization and time management skills
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, forecasting, and analytics experience is a plus.
• Ability to plan, think ahead, and prepare action plans to achieve results

Things that are a plus:

• 3 years of experience related to this field.
• 2 Oracle ERP/OTM experience required
• A college degree is preferred but not required.
