Oracle/SQL Server DBA position
(100% Remote - Full-time)

Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience with:

• Previous experience in the CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid) environment
• managing performance critical data warehouses with large volume of data as well as OLTP systems.
• Installation, upgrade and patching of Oracle (11g,12c, 18c, 19c) & MSSQL.
• Working in both Linux & windows environments.
• applying and troubleshooting patches to an Oracle 12,18,19 database on Linux.
• applying and troubleshooting patches to an Oracle 12,18,19 WebLogic Application Server on Linux.
• Hands-on implementing Oracle RAC, Data guard and able to handle switchover and failover activities.
• Oracle RMAN Backup and recovery and should be able handle the migration of databases.
• establishing and monitoring corporate standards and best practices, including disaster recovery, security, and data retention.
• troubleshooting and providing fixes for any performance issues.

Should have:

• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving ability
• Ability to handle all audit related activities in the database side.
• knowledge of security management.
• knowledge on the configuration of monitoring and threshold setups for the events and able to handle the alerts.
• Familiarity with software such as Microsoft office/outlook/excel/word/…, TOAD, VM, putty
