We are seeking an optometric technician to join our team in our very busy independent optometry practice.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, an outgoing and cheerful personality, confidence in their clinical skills, and a desire for professional growth.

This is a fast paced position that requires a positive demeanor, high attention to detail, and ability to work within a team to deliver outstanding patient care.

Job Responsibilities include:

-Patient workup

-Accurately record information into EHR

-Collect meaningful use information

-Perform diagnostic testing

-Work as part of a team to successfully execute best workflow

-Ability to be flexible with job duties and willing to be cross-trained in other departments

Required Experience:

-Preferred experience in optometry field, 1+ years

-Preferred experience with web based patient management OfficeMate/ExamWriter/E-Prescibing

Job Type:

Our office is looking for a full-time/part-time technician.
