Job description
Position Title: Operator, Assembly
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Location: McMinnville, TN 37110
Summary: Assembly of finished goods to prepare for pack-out to distribution.
Responsibilities:
- Use various hand tools, hammer and air driver as required by job assignment to repetitively assemble raw materials into a finished product.
- Pack and stack finished product as required, requiring lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Follow verbal and written work instructions to ensure all work is performed according to specifications.
- Use visual inspections and quality instructions (and quality instruments as needed) to ensure quality parts are produced.
- Document all production properly as required.
- Cross-train on other positions as needed.
- Follow all safety and environmental guidelines.
- Assist in retrieving and placing new materials to supply the line, requiring lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Work overtime as required.
High School Diploma or GED
