Job description
Plateco is a plating facility in Reedsburg and is seeking a high-energy, motivated Racking Perfectionist in the Production Department.
3rd shift position, running (4) 10-hour shifts from 9 pm - 7 am Sunday night thru Wednesday night saving the 5th day for any overtime needed.
Responsibilities:
- Racking and unracking a variety of metal parts, to be zinc-plated, according to work orders.
Requirements:
- Must have a strong work history.
- Production experience is preferred but will train the right person.
- Strong work ethic and integrity.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have excellent attendance.
Benefits:
- $2000 Retention Bonus ($1000 at 60 days and other $1000 at 6 months) effect. 3/20/21 + hire date
- Salary is $19.00/hr. - 3rd shift.

We built our first plating facility, 5000 sq. ft., in Necedah in 1977.In 1978, the business separated, two brothers moved to St. Louis and started their own plating business. Allen & Gerald Schweich continued on in Necedah until 1982, at which time the business expanded. The operation was moved to Reedsburg, WI. and a 10,000 sq. ft. facility was built.Since the move to Reedsburg, we have had four building expansions, which bring us to our current size of 75,000 sq. ft., and have increased our number of employees from 10 to the present number of 90.
