Summary The GMP Receiving and Fulfillment Warehouse Supervisor contributes to meeting Langham's
Life Science Services goals of exceptional customer service, quality, process improvement, and
profitability by ensuring that the GMP Warehouse Associate(s) and related operations personnel
meet customer goals for quality and timeliness of shipments. The Supervisor ensures productivity
and quality goals are met on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, maximizing efficiency through
cross training, goal setting, ongoing feedback and continuous improvement initiatives.
The GMP Receiving and Fulfillment Warehouse Supervisor ensures that all GMP shipments from
customers coming into the warehouse are accurately inspected, checked, recorded, and accounted for
according to standard operating procedures.
The GMP Receiving and Fulfillment Warehouse Supervisor is expected to plan work on a daily and
weekly basis, ensuring customer order fulfilment is accurate, timely and completed with a focus on
quality. The Supervisor is expected to meet all established productivity and profitability goals of the
Company and Life Science Services.
The Supervisor is charged with cross training employees in the department as well as planning for
adequate staffing to meet daily schedules and appropriately matching Associate skills with duties of
the job.
The Supervisor quickly responds to customer complaints and reports on quality errors on the floor,
engaging Quality representatives, so investigations can be completed according to standard operating
procedures.
The Receiving and Fulfillment Warehouse Supervisor also ensures that all work is done according to
safety and security guidelines, with particular attention to guidelines regarding temperature-controlled
materials, hazardous materials, and those mandated by the Departments of Homeland Security and
Transportation, Food and Drug Administration and other regulatory agencies affecting the GMP
operations.
The GMP Receiving and Fulfillment Warehouse Supervisor attends daily team meetings to discuss
daily goals, and weekly/monthly meetings to review performance in relation to Key Performance
Indicators (KPIs) and is expected to obtain respective OSHA certification and maintain a safe
environment in work areas.
The GMP Receiving and Fulfillment Warehouse Supervisor works directly with the Operations Manager –
IND, Langham Life Sciences to identify methods to increase productivity and efficiency on an ongoing
basis.

performance
Performance will be evaluated based on meeting the requirements of the job description; meeting
performance metrics and other quality indicators established for this position; working according
to specifications, policies, and standards established by Langham; working effectively in a team
environment; and providing a high level of internal and external customer service.

Department quality (error rates), productivity, absenteeism and other internal KPI's.
