Job description

The Operations Manager oversees the receiving of materials and directing warehouse personnel. This job will be performed in a warehouse environment and will direct the loading of trucks, organizing material for storage, and unloading of material. The operations manager will report to the facility general manager and will be involved in daily communication ensuring the operation is meeting the needs of our customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Accomplishing key performance goals and managing the performance of staff
• Ensuring that departments or units deliver quality that meets our customers’ expectations.
• Working closely with our customer ensuring effective communication and execution of objectives
• Improving internal processes for better productivity
• Overseeing projects and interpreting performance reports
• Adhering to company safety and handbook policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience with warehouse material handling techniques (forklift, loading/unloading trailers, inventory management).
• Experience with inventory management systems
• Manage overtime
• Effective written and oral communications skills
• Leadership and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to comprehend and align financial success of the business.
• Computer Skills – Excel, Word, Outlook

Compensation: Immediate benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, ESOP with a yearly bonus. Qualifies for a monthly performance bonus.
