The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operation of our brand new Reno, NV $27M, 465k sq ft, omni-channel facility - the first of its kind in Foot Locker history. This role will play a critical role in the Distribution Center by leading and coordinating activities of team members and evaluating operating methods and procedures for improvements and total quality. This position will focus on innovative and creative ways to achieve desired results in the areas of accuracy, productivity, service, safety, quality, cost effectiveness and growth and development of team members.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily activity and performance of distribution operation team members and accountability for achieving productivity and quality targets.
- Partner and coordinate with Operations management to ensure seamless transition between shifts.
- Collaborate with support departments to ensure consensus on policies and procedures.
- Build and execute appropriate development plans including bench strength.
- Manage a safe workplace by advocating safety training and accident preparedness.
- Troubleshoot and provide support on all Operations matters.
- Properly follows company and OSHA safety procedures as well as all applicable municipal, state and federal laws regarding safety.
- Foster an environment in which diverse backgrounds are respected and valued.
- Ensure performance plans are set, maintained, and continuously improved.
- Generate creative solutions to identify improvements in processes.
- Foster an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of management experience in a Distribution Center environment preferred
- Staff mentoring and development
- Teamwork and interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with customers, associates, and senior management
- A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
- An ability to think strategically and plan over a 3-6 month time span
- The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Technical skills in materials and inventory management, production scheduling, and preventive maintenance
This is a salaried position paid monthly. The anticipated annual compensation range for this role is $80000 - $105000; however, qualifications and experience will be considered.
