Summary of Position
Provides oversight and maintenance for weekend logistics and helps increase operational efficiency and effectiveness at DDC.
Qualifications and Requirements
Personal integrity and evidence of ongoing spiritual growth, as required of all disciples of Jesus, and church employees (church attendance, growing in identities of disciple, small group membership, tithing, etc.)
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Creative problem solver with proficient analytical skills
Detail Oriented, with the ability to see even the smallest issues as important, and visualize how all details work together
Ability to handle logistics in new environments with an eye for efficiency
Ability to recruit, lead, and delegate responsibilities to a volunteer team
Skilled at handling a wide range of repairs and doing maintenance work
Member, or willing and able to become a member, of the Summit Church and a Summit small group
Responsibilities
Oversees weekly/weekend maintenance of campus trucks, cases, and other campus supplies including heaters, hoses, tanks, trailers, signage, pipe & drapes, etc.
Responsible for the leadership and direction of weekend set up and tear down teams
Develops and recruits volunteers to help serve on setup and tear down
Help improve the effectiveness and efficiency of weekend logistical processes at DDC
Assist with any logistical details necessary to make campus events run smoothly
Attend Campus specific meetings and events
Regularly attend weekend worship services @ The Downtown Durham Campus
