Summary:

The Operational Training Coordinator, reporting to the Manager, Operational Workflows & Training, will be focused on coordinating all aspects of training for field-based care teams, patients with kidney disease, and strategic initiatives related to operational training needs. This position will also collaborate with multiple departments to help stakeholders align and communicate for streamlined processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to training content and development related to operational workflows for field-based, multidisciplinary care teams.
  • Organize and schedule training curriculum for newly hired staff, re-training of existing staff, implementation of new initiatives, and changes to current processes.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and need and collaborate with training team to address identified areas.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key members of other departments within the organization.
  • Facilitate and lead project meetings, documenting summaries and communicating next steps.
  • Assist with the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of trainings using educational principles and training methods or activities, such as tech-based learning, simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, case studies, etc.
  • In coordination with the trainer(s) assess the impact of each educational course on staff performance and outcomes.
  • Maintain and update a library of training curricula and materials.
  • Coordinate multiple training events in a corporate or community-based setting utilizing traditional and/or modern job training methods.
  • Adhere to established timeframes for employee training and onboarding procedures in partnership with Human Resources and Executive leadership.
  • Maintain staff training records.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, Nursing degree, or other comparable healthcare experience.
  • Two (2) years' experience supporting organizational training.
  • Experience with MOC, SNP, SLA, NCQA, and other training compliance requirements.

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products including (but not limited to) Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook.

Travel Requirement:

  • This position requires up to 10 - 25% travel. Travel may be outside the local area and overnight.

Physical Requirements

  • This job operates in a professional setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Normal manual dexterity is required.
  • Normal speaking and hearing abilities to interact with others in an office environment, over telephone or other video conferencing platform.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and reach with hands and arms and continuously repeat the same hand, arm finger motion many times as in typing.
