Do you have a love for math and enjoy helping students succeed? Join our team as an Online Math Tutor and provide mathematical help to students via web-based text chats.
Your work will include:
- Providing online assistance to math students with problems ranging from Middle School through Algebra II and Geometry.
- Communicating effectively and professionally with students using our textbooks.
A Qualified Candidate:
- Has experience teaching Math at middle or high school. Current and former teachers welcome to apply.
- Demonstrates Math proficiency up to and including Algebra II and Geometry.
- Has access to a computer with high-speed internet (equipment guidelines and specifications available upon request)
- Must be comfortable working in an online environment
- Will need to obtain Florida clearances
- FL Criminal Check
- FL Departments of Children and Families background check
- Fingerprints (FBI clearance)
- Must reside in Hillsborough, Manatee, Orange, Osceola, and Pasco counties in Florida.
- Possess exceptional listening, writing, and presentation skills.
- Is resourceful and motivated to ask questions and solve problems.
- Manages their time effectively.
Tutors will be able to work from home. Shifts are available from 4:00 pm EST – 12:00 midnight EST, Sunday through Thursday. Ideal candidates would work between 10 hours and 20 hours per week. Available shifts start at 4:00 pm EST and 5:00 pm EST.
