Overview:
Jackson Dawson is looking for an office Runner. The position will assist in day-to-day activities in and out of the office, including deliveries to the client, purchasing every day items and basic office repairs and maintenance. The runner builds rapport and relationships with the company and clients they do exchanges with and expedite production of business via transferring items. The ideal candidate would be punctual, independent and enthusiastic with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Flexible schedules available between the hours of 8AM and 6PM.
Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver messages, documents, packages and other items to clients and vendors
- Liaise with suppliers, ordering office supplies and electronics
- Assist in set up of office areas, including buying and building furniture
- Other miscellaneous office duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Flexible and well organized
- Ability to perform basic mechanical tasks
- Capable of multitasking and meeting multiple deadlines
- Demonstrated self-starter
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand/walk up to 100% of shift
- Frequently required to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch
