Job description

We are an established and growing electrical contracting business located in Nassau County, NY, with over 25 years of experience. We specialize in providing high-quality electrical services to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Currently, we are seeking a highly organized Office Manager with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

As the Office Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and providing excellent customer service. You will manage office operations, reception, scheduling, and coordination, maintain records, handle financial transactions, coordinate technician scheduling and dispatch, procure supplies, and prepare purchase orders. Additionally, you will provide administrative support, assist with bids, proposals, and contracts, and identify process improvements using Microsoft Office and Sage accounting software if applicable.

The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 3 years of office management or related experience, strong organizational and multitasking skills, and basic accounting knowledge. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and knowledge of Sage accounting software and /or Construction industry experience is a plus.
