Position Summary

The Human Resource Assistant will provide high level administrative support to the District. The successful candidate will be someone who possesses a professional attitude, who can maintain confidentiality, multi-task, and organize and prioritize work. The individual will use his or her natural curiosity and sound judgment skills to take initiative and make good decisions that will move the department and company forward. An effective level of attention to detail is key.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform general office duties within the office which require knowledge of company procedures.
  • Duties performed may include word processing, software support, file organization and maintenance, operation of office equipment, answering phones and greeting visitors for that location.
  • Support the recruitment strategy, sourcing techniques and implementation of innovative and efficient programs to ensure the hiring and retention of the best talent.
  • Process employee documentation; new hire information, termination, attendance forms, maintain personnel files
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure successful on-boarding for new hires
  • Implement the appropriate employee training and manage its delivery.
  • Handle special projects as assigned.
