Position Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the Projects team, coordinating, and scheduling new residential construction exteriors projects. The Projects Office Associate receives approved estimates from the external customer, adds lot, neighborhood, and other qualifying data to create a new job within the systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Receive information on jobs won by Southern Exteriors via internal and external software portals.
  • Merge information on data points such as Neighborhood, Lot Number, House Plan Design, Elevation, etc... to create a new “Project.”
  • Communicate and coordinate with other internal team members to ensure readiness throughout the construction process.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Field Management team to ensure project readiness in the field.
  • Research, troubleshoot and remedy issues or errors as needed.
  • Update relevant statuses in database.
  • Respond to sales team inquiries via email and phone.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of one (2-3) year office experience working in a detail-oriented position, construction background helpful.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Strong customer service & excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Experience working as a team member toward shared goals.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Word and Excel (Google Docs & Sheets)
  • Experience working in Quickbooks, Accumatica, or similar ERP systems strongly preferred.
  • Work Ethic & Dependability, a positive attitude and attention to detail are necessary for success!
