Position Description:

Office Assistant/ Victim Advocate

Primary Purpose of Position:

The primary purpose the Office Assistant/ Victim Advocate position is to be responsible for day-to-day operations of the office.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

1. Answering and directing phone calls.

2. Completing all clerical responsibilities.

3. Being the face of RCVCC to the public.

4. Maintaining and updating the calendar of events, community presentations and other activities.

5. Create and modify documents such as invoices, reports, memos, letters and financial statements using word processing, spreadsheet, database and/or other presentation software such as Microsoft Office, QuickBooks

6. Code and post daily transactions in Quickbooks by funding source and in accordance with RCVCC two-touch procedure. Generate monthly Budget Expenditure report by line item and funding source by the 10th.

7. Assist other staff members as needed.

8. Conduct other duties assigned by the Executive Director.

9. Maintain monthly statically information for agency use

10. Supervise Community Service workers.

11. Client intakes.

12. Respond to hospital

13. Answer crisis calls

14. On-call rotation

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Fayetteville, NC 28301: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
