The Nursing Staff Scheduler/Admin Assistant coordinates staffing for the Nursing Department and provides clerical support to the CNO.

Maintains current contact information for all nursing department personnel

Establishes staffing patterns and schedules for nurses and nursing assistants and utilizes the matrix for the daily staffing plans.

Works with human resources to advise them of staffing needs, terminations, and other information necessary for the smooth flow of work regarding employees.

Assists in securing staff for absences, leaves, etc., adjusting schedules as required.

Maintains records on vacations, sick leave, leaves of absence, holidays, excused and unexcused absences.

Provides clerical support to the CNO.

Documents meeting minutes as needed or requested.
Requirements:

Available to work 11-7:30 Mon-Fri
-
Previous scheduling experience in a healthcare facility/CPR certification required through the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association
