We are currently hiring for a RN Trainer/ Educator in our Rochester Area to support our Suburban expansion!! As a RN Trainer/Educator at Venture Forthe, you will be responsible for training to home health aides, personal care aides. The PCA/Training-Registered Nurse also assists in the agency’s continuing education/ in-service program and field competency testing of all clinical staff. This position will require on-site as well as remote site trainings within the area.

Nursing Recruitment Bonus Program

Eligible RN Hires and Payment Structure:

• Full Time hires will receive $2,500 after 90 days of continuously working, 2nd bonus at $2,500 after 6 months of continuously working, 3rd bonus of $2,500 at 270 days working, and the final $2,500 at one year of employment for a total of $10,000.

Job Qualifications

• NYS Licensed and currently registered as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing and holds a Diploma, Baccalaureate or Masters Degree.
• One year experience in the provision of nursing care in an acute care facility.
• Home Care experience preferred.
• One year of education/instruction experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of the scope of practice of professional and paraprofessional healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Instruct NYS PCA certification classes in our Rochester, Batavia, Albion, LeRoy Area to support suburban expansion.
• Assist in developing, updating and maintaining training material and curriculum for PCAs as needed.
• Assists in the agency’s continuing education/in-service program and field competency testing of all clinical staff.
• May also be responsible for the direction, coordination and direct supervision of the agency’s paraprofessional staff and private duty/shift nursing services.
