Central Coast Behavioral Health Inc (CCBH) continues to grow and expand its services. We are looking for a compassionate, caring, and detail oriented PMHNP/PA to work in the office at our Arroyo Grande location. PLEASE NOTE that this is not a remote position.
Our core goal is to provide high quality psychiatric care to our community. We treat adults with anxiety disorders, mood disorders and dually diagnosed psychiatric patients, but we see patients with other psychiatric diagnoses.
Under the guidance and supervision of the Supervising Physician you will manage the entire scope of the psychiatric care of patients, including new evaluations, follow-up appointments, medication management and psychotherapeutic/skill building interventions.
The NP/PA will be responsible for all aspects of care, including psychiatric assessment, ordering lab work and other diagnostic tests, communication with family members, and coordination-of-care with other health care providers.
Requirements
- Practice setting: IN-OFFICE, outpatient
- This is a FULL TIME 1099 contract position
- Licensure Requirements: PMHNP/PA-C
- Experience:
o PMHNP/PA-C - at least one year of outpatient psychiatric experience
Compensation
- $140 per hour based on 30-minute follow-up appointments and 60-minute new evaluation appointments
Hours of operation M-TH 8:30am-5pm and Friday 9am-4pm.
We require this new employee to work 32-40 hours per week. We can be flexible with the days per week that the employee works if they are working less than 40 hours.
We are professionals with long experience in psychiatric practice. Since 2010 we have been serving the San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara County Community.
We offer evaluations, consultations and ongoing treatments to treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions.
About Dr. Pedro D Guimaraes MD
Dr. Guimares has a M.D. degree and Ph.D. in Neurophysiology. He is also Board Certified by the American Academy of Neurology and Psychiatry. In recognition of Significant Contributions to Psychiatry, Dr. Guimaraes was elected to be a Fellow by the American Psychiatric Association in 2012.
