Responsible for the account as it pertains to the importation of the goods. Maintain and develop a positive relationship with assigned accounts through pro-active communication and providing timely and accurate information. Compile and prepare commercial regulatory document(s) for entry processing. Help create U.S Customs forms and obtain U.S Customs release of shipments. Coordinate and confirm release and delivery of all cargo.

Essential Functions / Duties:

• Process pre-entry requirements
• Receive shipment notification and prepare entries
• Verify all charges due by revising the commercial invoice
• Surrender documents and payment to obtain freight release
• Review documents and prioritize shipments
• Create entry/entries summary / in-bonds
• Submit required documents to U.S customs
• Assure documents in Mexico are prepared
• Work with drayage carrier to assure clearance of shipment
• Prepare work orders for distribution department
• Prepare Bill of Ladings
• Prepare post-entry documents
• Prepare file for billing

· Support the operations where needed

• Ensure customer profiles are updated and current for assigned accounts
• Position Compensation:

Full Time, Industry Competitive Hourly Position

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma, College or Associates Degree preferred
• Brokerage license preferred but not required
• Ability to relate to employees at all levels
• Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Weekend Rotations

Prior Experience:

Experience: 2 years of northbound import entry processing experience (Required)

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
