The Production Nightshift Manager supervises production employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment: plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. Typical staff size is 3 leads, 40 production workers. Is responsible for coordinating training to Leads as well as production employees. Use RedZone as a management tool to guide the shift production and output. Use Data Ninja effectively to ensure inventory is robust and accurate.

As a Night Shift Production Manager. you will:

• 
  Ensure effective employee relations.

• Provide employee coaching and development and makes labor allocation decisions.

• Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.

• Balance safety, quality, productivity, cost, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.

• Work to continuously improve in all areas.

• Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to Director of Manufacturing.

• Provide leadership through a 30-day planning cycle.

• Check for proper inventory levels, and inventory software consumption accuracy.

• Manage department priorities.

• The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas were under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. For the most part ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
