Your role in helping us shape the future:

U.S. News is seeking a full-time Associate Editor for coverage on New York current events.

Primary day-to-day responsibilities will include a mix of researching, writing and editing about various topics such as politics and policy, health, education and the economy. You’ll be responsible for writing content using SEO best practices; editing and fact-checking content for flow, consistency, tone, grammar, spelling, AP style and accuracy; and collaborating with others across the organization to support production, audience development and other efforts. The ability to handle multiple short-term and longer-term assignments, while meeting tight deadlines, is key.

The position is based out of our New York, New York office. Candidates must be NY- Based and open to working hybrid from our New York office.
