We are seeking 1 part-time or full-time licensed clinician (LMHC, LCSW) to join our unique, fun, and collaborative: counseling - conflict resolution - restorative practice - child advocate (CASA) TEAM-BASED center that serves children/youth, adults, and businesses. The position would provide therapeutic counseling to individuals, couples, and families!

Responsibilities:

• Conduct screening/clinical assessments, establish diagnoses, treatment recommendations and treatment planning for adults, children/youth, and families.
• Provide direct therapeutic services to clients utilizing theories, principles and methods that best fit their needs.
• Maintain up-to-date case and progress notes, correspondence regarding client, treatment plans, termination summaries, and case closure processes within expected timeframes.
• Create comprehensive treatment plans that reflect the clients’ needs with goals that are measurable and attainable.
• Utilize a strengths-based and trauma-informed practice to help families recognize and work through issues that have been identified.
• Demonstrate an inclusive practice both in the office and in the field to support a diverse and accepting culture.
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary team that shares your passion for children and families.
• Maintain clinical licensure.
• Participate in weekly or bi-weekly supervision, weekly case conferences, staff meetings and training events, fundraising events for both agencies, and other meetings.

Experience and Skills:

• Clear and active LMHC or LCSW license for New York State.
• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to clients post licensure.
• Experience with Electronic Health/Medical Records systems
• Already credentialed to accept insurances a plus!
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and collaboration skills.
• A strong belief in the capacity of people to grow and change.
• Experience and passion for counseling children and youth a plus!
• Demonstrated ability to function both autonomously and as a team member.
• Self-motivated to quickly build rapport with clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word, and Zoom.
• Steady, reliable internet and a dedicated space for working remotely, if applicable.
• Must pass all background checks including after hire.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable personal transportation.
