Basic Position Objective Statement:
Responsible for driving sales of the Graham OEM business. Lead efforts to maintain current business and find new business within Little Rapids capabilities that generate profitable sales. Serve as a key interface with Graham OEM customers.

Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Develop an understanding of each customer’s unique challenges and develop creative solutions to capture opportunities.
  • Assess market information to identify emerging trends and determine appropriate actions to capitalize on changing market conditions.
  • Recommend strategies to grow the Graham OEM business in terms of both revenue and profitability.
  • Expand sales in existing accounts by identifying new opportunities, introducing new products and services, and developing new applications.
  • Develop new business within current markets as well as define and penetrate new markets.
  • Maintain appropriate sales call frequency to build relationships and to develop an understanding of customers’ decision-making criteria.
  • Document and maintain key information on current and potential customers and competitors.
  • Develop business plans and establish goals and priorities for the Graham OEM business.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop meaningful forecasts to enable proper inventory management and service levels.
  • Develop pricing and pro-forma quotations for all export accounts.
  • Work with manufacturing to improve efficiency, lower cost, improve profits while meeting customer needs.
  • Manage sales spending budgets.
  • Other assignments as made by management.
Knowledge, Education, and Training Qualifications and Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
Key Functional Competencies:
  • Minimum three (3) years of previous experience selling products through direct sales, independent distribution channels, and/or independent sales reps.
  • Experience with converting plant processes and associated economics.
  • Understanding of pricing and cost accounting practices.
  • Hands-on knowledge of preparing and executing business plans.
Key Performance Competencies:
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a culture defined by LRC’s core values of achievement, teamwork, innovation, and respect.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Regular attendance at work is required. The ability to work additional hours during the week or on weekends may be required.
  • Must have the ability to travel (air/land) up to 50%. A valid driver’s license and Passport are required.
Physical Requirements:
The ability to work in a normal office environment to include: sitting or standing for long periods of time, operating various standard office equipment, carrying paper documents/files, reaching and bending, speaking on the telephone, walking through our manufacturing plant, and wearing required personal protection gear (i.e. hearing, eye, and foot protection).
