The SolarEdge Sales Elite Network in North America seeks to provide a collaborative and interactive support partnership between SolarEdge experts and the people on the front lines: Residential Sales Consultants. We do this through access to continuing education, selling resources, events, and contests for our sales partners. The National Sales Instructional Designer/Trainer would play a pivotal role in this program through the development and execution of all training activities associated with the Sales Elite Network. The National Sales Instructional Designer/Trainer will be responsible for using creativity and out-of-the-box thinking to strategically expand the program to all of our Residential Sales Partners in North America.

Duties and Responsibilities: *

  • Delivers sales-focused trainings to audiences ranging from 15 to 200 participants using both in-person and online training platforms for facilitation.
  • Develops training curricula for ‘live’ interactive training sessions and role play workshops as well as e-module curriculum paths that meet instructional goals and objectives.
  • Presents at large sales professional conferences for audiences of 500 or more attendees.
  • User support and management of learning management system, including troubleshooting directly with learners as well as creating training completion reports.
  • Evaluates effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizes relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods.
  • Assists in data analysis of membership engagement and trends
  • Curates and fulfills Sales Elite contests and swag inventory management
  • Helps with promotion and coordination of Sales Elite events and creation of monthly newsletter

Required Skills and Qualifications: *

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Instructional Design
  • 2 years of experience developing and delivering training to audiences in both virtual and in-person training environments
  • Experience in curriculum development software, such as Articulate360
  • 2 years sales experience, in-home solar sales experience preferred
  • 40% travel within North America required for the role
