We're seeking a Multimedia Learning & Development Specialist to join our People & Culture team. Reporting to the Vice President of Talent Strategy, you will explore and implement creative approaches to learning through interactive graphic design, rapid video production and digital media to enhance the learning needs of talent across the organization.

What You'll Do:

Video & Interactive Learning: contribute to a variety of projects by first assessing learning needs to design and develop engaging learning tools:

• Transform learning content into compelling stories
• Produce videos to support onboarding & new hire training, technical and systems trainings, role and skills training, and soft skills
• Produce engaging animated and interactive elements to support instructional objectives and concepts

Learning Management System:

• Serve as our Learning Management System (LMS) administrator managing learners, teams, enrollment, reporting, and troubleshooting
• Become an expert in our LMS (Litmos), ensuring that we are optimizing the system and creating content that is both impactful and engaging
• Act as point person for all Litmos needs to ensure a smooth employee experience

New Hire Onboarding: Own the New Hire Onboarding program, including:

• Outreach and support for hiring managers prior to new hire first day
• Facilitate engaging onboarding sessions that ensure all new team members feel a sense of belonging from day one and understand how they contribute to the overall success of Convene
• Support new hires and hiring managers with questions or new hire set up troubleshooting
• Manage onboarding surveys to monitor, learn from, and improve on the experience

Communication & Collaboration:

• Maintain open communication and collaborative work relationships between field and corporate departments
• Foster a collaborative relationship with subject matter experts, supplementing their depth of knowledge with suggestions to enhance learning and engagement
• Pitch in where needed, providing support as a member of the People & Culture team

What We Look For:

The successful candidate will be a creative thinker and problem solver with an eye for design and innovation.

• 3+ years' practical experience in adult learning, instructional design principles, blended/eLearning, graphic design, and video/animation or motion graphics
• Proficient with design or animation software e.g., Adobe Illustrator/InDesign, video editing software, and content creation software
• Excellent communication skills and energized by facilitating live, virtual & recorded trainings
• Desire to learn new skills and technology and the ability to absorb new concepts quickly
• A passion for creativity, innovation and collaboration
• Outstanding organizational skills; self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines
• Driven, self-starter; comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment; positive, flexible, and change seeking

Additional Information:

• Convene embraces a 'remote-first' workplace and this role can be remote anywhere in the United States, with a strong preference for Eastern/Central time zone applicants and driving proximity to one of our major US markets (NYC, Philadelphia, Chicago, DC, Boston)
• Some travel will be required for in-person meetings and facilitation

Base Salary:

Salary Min: $80k Salary Max: $100k

This role is also eligible for Convene's annual incentive performance bonus plan.
