First Care Medical Clinic is looking to hire a Staff Trainer (Clinical and Administrative). In this role the Staff Trainer will teach and guide new and tenured staff toward the goal of providing quality clinical care and meeting organizational goals through executing their respective roles. The role is located in Monroe, NC and our work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.

I. Responsibilities:

a. Trains, coordinates, and instructs new & tenured staff on company policies, procedures, and daily responsibilities.

b. Teach specified staff on the job responsibilities and duties of medical assistant, front desk, and triage. This entails having a strong understanding of the topics to be taught and preparing well for training.

c. Go through the curriculum and make useful suggestions on possible ways to

improve on them to foster effective learning.

d. Prepare detailed training notes on each topic to be taught, in line with acceptable

standards in the industry and deliver trainings in class and/or onsite with authority on the given

topic.

e. Administer tests and assignments to staff to assess their understanding of

topics they have taken, as well as to measure the efficiency of the teaching

methods adopted.

f. Personally supervise job functions and activities training of students to ensure they are doing well, and to put them through where they are experiencing difficulties.

g. Evaluate staff performances and create effective means of rewarding

excelling students, while encouraging those not doing so well, by working with

them to improve their academic performances.

h. Promote the mission, philosophy, instructional goals and objectives of First Care Medical Clinic and maintain an environment conducive to effective learning within the limits of resources provided.

i. Prepares for classes and clinical sites.

j. Employs a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media, consistent

with the physical resources of the teaching site, and consistent with student

needs/capabilities.

k. Encourages staff to meet acceptable performance standards as defined in

course syllabi and by state guidelines.

l. Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect staff, patients,

equipment, materials, and facilities.

m. Evaluates staff progress on a continuing basis, reporting in writing at

designated times.

n. Works to establish and maintain open lines of communication with staff

concerning their progress.

o. Maintains accurate and auditable records of staff attendance and performance

as required by company policy.

p. Prepares course application forms and maintain staffing enrollment and test

registration records.

q. Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with staff and clinical

site staff.

II. Communication:

a. Excellent communication skills.

b. Interacts effectively with students, staff, and external clients of FCMC.

c. Must have ability to interact effectively and courteously with culturally diverse

d. groups.

e. Ability to communicate only the facts to recipients or to decline to reveal

f. information.

g. Ability to project a professional, friendly, and helpful demeanor.

III. Education:

a. Baccalaureate degree in a health-related field and Certified Medical Office Assistant, Registered Nurse, or LPN licensed in North Carolina.

b. Minimum two years of experience working in a medical office environment.

c. Competence in the Medical Assisting Education Review

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
