The Lead Motor Vehicle Clerk will welcome, mentor, and assist in training new hires.The Motor Vehicle Clerk will assist customers and issue requested motor vehicle transactions (i.e., drivers' licenses, titles, registrations, vin inspections, notary services etc.) either face-to-face with customers or by telephone. Will be required conduct road tests and become a TSA Agent. The Motor Vehicle Clerk will obtain information such as valid identification, proof of document authenticity, required documentation, form completion and fees to complete each transaction(s) as required by the State Motor Vehicle Department. Must understand and comply with all MVD policies and procedures and follow all rules and regulations.

• Maintain a balanced cash drawer

Essential Functions

• Physical Ability - Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Must possess the necessary dexterity and "fine motor skills" to operate department office equipment (i.e., telephone, PC, keyboard, printer, fax machine, copier.)
