AT A GLANCE

We are seeking an engaging, motivated, and tech-savvy Event Specialist to represent our Meta client at team events across the country. Our ideal candidate loves to travel and has proven experience in event management and hosting, training, and product demos. This is a full-time opportunity that offers a $500 bonus upon successful completion of this program!

Overview

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the Event Specialist role is to meet client goals through the development and execution of all team events. The Event Specialist will be responsible for the execution of all client events, as well as working directly with the field team to ensure all events are executed to the client’s standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Compensation $26.00-$28.00 per hour depending on experience.
  • Manage on site events, materials and people to ensure all client deliverables are being met
  • Work with client and host partners to set up and execute events, as requested
  • Manage/maintain event display kits, ordering replacement parts as needed
  • Deliver training content to ensure all field members are thoroughly prepared before each event or store visit
  • Collaborate, communicate, and execute all assigned events
  • Attend events, as needed, to assist and to coach and develop the field team
  • Work closely with cross-functional departments in support of the account and program
  • Seasonal staff and market support
  • Other tasks as requested by management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • College degree in communications, marketing, or training & development preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of Retail, Marketing, or Agency experience - field representative experience helpful, but not mandatory

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proactive, innovative, and flexible attitude
  • Hosting training and other events on camera or live stream environments
  • Excellent in multitasking, comfortable with high pace work environment and great in building long-lasting relationships
  • Attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Google Docs and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to take direction easily and operate independently
  • Ability to travel more than 75% of the time
  • Valid proof of COVID-19 vaccination status required

  • Ability to travel via car or plane
