Earn $17.00 / hour with the selection of the Enhanced Pay Option.

The Mental Health Worker will administer medication and therapeutic treatments, monitor for potential side effects and report. They provide care in a manner that considers the patient's rights, safety, comfort and the overall therapeutic environment and will also observe, document and report resident behavior. The Mental Health worker will monitor and document weights, blood pressure, pulse and respiration per MD orders and monthly for all residents. Theycommunicate with co-workers and supervisors in a timely manner that affects patient care or well-being. The Mental Health Worker will fillin resident charts, assist in orientation and training of new staff members, understand, and implement Merakey policies and procedures, andcomplete assessment forms on each client on admission, quarterly and as needed. Someone in this role will order refills of medications, act as lead staff when the Administrator or Asst. Administrator is not available. They will supervise all Direct Care staff and complete all other duties as assigned by the Administrator.
