Job Description:

Provides quality behavioral health services including being responsible for treatment plan development, coordination, and the delivery of psychotherapy to patients and families. Works as either an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC) or Associate marriage and family therapist to provide services of a psychological nature for patients, hospital/facility treatment teams, physicians, staff members and others as appropriate. This care is provided under the supervision of a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Scope

• Provides comprehensive intake examinations and mental health assessments, and determines accurate DSM V multi-axial diagnosis based on clinical information.
• Provides Mental Health services to individuals, couples, families and groups, using a variety of treatment approaches and tools.
• Provides education and/or training services to EAP contracted companies and groups.
• Makes appropriate referrals for patients needing services outside the scope of BHA/EAP.
• Promotes mission, vision, and values of SCL Health, and abides by service behavior standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  

Minimum Qualifications

Required
Masters degree in Social Work or related field is required
Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor license is required

Preferred
Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within three ()3 months of hire is preferred
Two (2) years post licensure experience is preferred
