Hope Community Resources is a non-profit organization providing community supports to hundreds of individuals and families who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury and mental health challenges. The Mental Health Clinician provides mental health referrals, screenings and assessments for referred treatment recipients. This position develops treatment plans, provides counseling, staff debriefing and training, and mental health consultation. The Mental Health Clinician develops positive behavioral support, treatment, and safety plans and monitors their effectiveness. Services designed by the Mental Health Clinician are individualized to provide therapeutic interventions, informational and instructional activities, and skill development experiences that build upon identified strengths. The Mental Health Clinician maintains loyalty to the organization, its beliefs, values, mission, vision, and expectations and to the recipients of services.

• Master’s degree in Social work, Psychology or related clinical field required.
• Two years of experience working with individuals who experience developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, traumatic brain injury, or similar populations required. Experience working with children, adults and families preferred.
• A professional license appropriate to field of specialization required, or the ability to obtain it within two years of employment.
