• The Arbors Assisted Living is seeking compassionate and dedicated Medication Aides/Technicians to help our residents in the daily management of their medication.

Position Summary:

• The Medication Technician is responsible to the Wellness Director in the performance of a variety of medication duties assigned. Monitors daily health status and reports to Wellness Supervisor. Assists residents with ADL’s as required.
• This is a key area where our residents count on reliable support, and your attention to detail and disciplined approach will make a positive impact on their lives. Your role is essential to the care and safety of residents who choose to call The Arbors their home.
• Working in our Wellness Department, your assistance is key in helping residents take their medications safely, consistently and as directed by their physicians.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents manage Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and the administration of their medications
• Following all policies and procedures, and adhering to the instructions of the Nurse Shift Supervisor and the Director of Wellness
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all residents, while following company policies and procedures
• Following Medication Administration Records (MAR) and doctors’ orders

Position:

• We have full time, part time and flexible per diem schedules with room for growth in all five of our communities.
• The shifts can vary from: 6am-2pm, 6:30am-7pm, 3:30pm-6:30pm, or 6:30pm-9:30pm (Can inquire more about the days)
