Part-time position to become full-time. Current position is 2-4 shifts per week, 2-10pm. More shifts will be available beginning in July. Train and work 2-4 shifts per week now, then position can become full-time in July.

Must be available to work weekends.

We are looking for a Med Tech/Caregiver to care for our clients in a professional and compassionate manner. It’s an often demanding job, but it also very satisfying and rewarding, since our residents and their families are thankful for high quality assistance. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills.

Those without med tech certification can work as a caregiver until certified at the rate of $15.00 per hour.

We can provide caregiver training for those without experience.

You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Prepare meals
• Perform light housekeeping
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion

Skills

• Proven experience as a caregiver
• First aid and CPR certified
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics
• Physical endurance
• At least 18 years of age

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Weekend availability
