Clive Behavioral Health


Clive Behavioral Health (CBH) is a 134-bed licensed inpatient behavioral health hospital, operating on two campuses in Iowa. Clive Behavioral Health West opened in February 2021 with 100 inpatient beds for adult, child & adolescent patients experiencing a severe behavioral health crisis. Care at this location focuses on crisis management, stabilization and development of a plan to return to community living with, if needed, supportive outpatient services and community services and resources. Clive Behavioral Health Des Moines is a 34-bed inpatient location operated by CBH on the MercyOne Des Moines campus. Care at this location will be for adults experiencing a severe behavioral health crisis.

Qualifications:

Medical Records Clerk (HIM)


Essential Job Duties:

Responsibility for assisting to keep the unit record current, organized and readily avaliable. Maintains chart control by effectively verifying, processing, and filing reports in a timely matter.


Experience Requirements:

Work Experience: Work experience related to health care infromation in an acute care setting preffered.

Education Experience: General education level/ High School Graduate or Equivalent, Medical Terminology Preferred

Skills, Knowledge: Basic computer skills, ability to type 35-40 words per minute, with accuracy, strong verbal, interpersonal and communication skills, legible penmanship.


Hours: 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday
