Orlando Internal Medicine Practice on 1507 S Hiawassee Rd Suite 107, Orlando, FL 32835 is searching for a professional, experienced, enthusiastic, responsible, energetic individual to check in/Check out and assist our patients. The candidate MUST work well under pressure and have at least 1 years of experience in the cardiology area. Bilingual is preferred. Previous experience with EHR system is required. The candidate is expected to fulfill all duties as per the job position which may also vary as needed.

Work Scope:

• Bilingual Preferred (Spanish)
• Greet and assist patients with any needs.
• Verify patients demographics (Address, Phone number, email address, emergency contact information, insurance changes etc.)
• Collect all copayments, coinsurance, deductibles as needed
• Schedule, re-schedule patients appointments as needed
• Answer and transfer phone calls as needed
• Page physicians when hospitals call the office for consult.
• Check daily e-faxes and sort them accordingly.
• Maintain an excellent and professional work ethic
• Great writing and communication skills
• Maintain phone Etiquette when speaking with patients.
• HIPAA and OSHA knowledge (Certifications)
• Proficient with programs as : Word, Excel, Outlook, EHR system, (preferably e-MD's)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
