A Woman's Place is a private OBGYN practice with three offices located in Little Silver, Colts Neck and Lakewood, NJ.

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our busy and growing practice. This position is responsible for providing a positive patient experience and maintaining a steady patient flow throughout the day. The ideal candidate would be a professional, highly motivated, mature, and dependable individual with prior medical office experience. Candidate should have an ambitious work ethic, team spirit, and a positive attitude. Flexibility to rotate office location on an as needed basis preferred.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Check in / check out
• Answering phones and accurately documenting / routing messages
• Scheduling / rescheduling appointments
• Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits
• Filing, faxing, scanning, and sorting documents
• Other clerical duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous medical receptionist experience or background in general office required
• Demonstrates a clear understanding of the importance of patient satisfaction
• Excellent phone etiquette
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Attention to accuracy and details
• Ability to multitask and maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Medical Assisting Certification a plus, but not required. Potential for dual Medical Receptionist / Medical Assistant role with previous medical assisting experience.

Salary commensurate with experience.
