Thomson Memory & Attention, one of the largest U.S. neuropsychological diagnostic centers, is looking to fill a position at one of our many Chicagoland locations. We are hiring for a full-time, medical office receptionist for our Barrington location. We are looking for a candidate who is reliable and can handle a fast-paced work environment. Training for this position will take about a month, and we will handle training the right person! Some traveling between offices may occur, but this would only be during the training period in order to speed up the onboarding process allowing you to learn from and shadow our experienced administrative team members.

The position entails and requires:

• scheduling patients for multiple providers
• a strong ability to multi-task while working in a fast paced environment
• excellent communications skills via phone and email
• problem solving skills
• faxing, scanning, uploading, and creating medical templates
• applying insurance co-payments
• interacting with patients
• experience in medical billing for multiple providers - helpful but not required
• comfortable calling patients to give insurance deductibles and copayments over the phone

Good candidates should either have a Bachelor's degree or a High School degree with years of relevant work experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
