Job Title: Medical Billing Coordinator

Job Type: Flexible (Remote but office space can be made available) – Approximately 10 hours/week

The Medical Billing Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

Medical Billing for the entire practice. This includes but is not limited to:

• Initial Claim submission for all insurance clients (50%)
• Working closely with the Director of Finance and Executive Director to ensure problem claims/issues are resolved timely manner (15%)
• Support with assigning tasks via a shared email ‘account@’ - ensuring response to all emails within 24 business hours. (15%)
• Communicate denied and rejected claim issues with clients at least weekly (10%)
• Utilize insurance portals to inquire on claim statuses
• Attending weekly or bi-weekly supervision (with an organized list of questions or concerns) (5%)
• Attending meetings around training, planning, and building within FW (5%)
• Maintain set office hours, where work will be completed on a regular basis
• Other tasks will be assigned/ needed as roles grow and evolve with experience.

*Percentages are anticipated, and more time may need to be directed to specific tasks.

This position will be paid biweekly on Thursday at a rate of $20/hour, less applicable withholdings.

Terms of position:

• This position will be reviewed quarterly and based on the demands and growth the Director of Finance sees in collaboration with the Executive Director.
• This position is part-time with growth potential.

This is an at-will position and either party can terminate at any time, though a 12 month term is requested.
