Job description
Medical Assistant/Scribe needed for our Springfield location. This will be part time position unless you are willing to commute to Waldorf, MD, 2 days a week.
Computer/typing skills are a must.
College education is required, even if currently ongoing.
Experience preferred but training can be provided.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities:
- Prior Authorizations. Training will be provided.
- Taking notes during patient visits and document them in EHR system.
- Upper level typing/computer skills are a must.
Secondary responsibilities:
- Should be able to manage front desk and answer phone calls
- Take vitals, check-in/check-out patients, enter information in charts etc
- Preparing patients for examinations.
- Assisting the physician during examinations and procedures
- Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
