Medical Assistant
Job description
- Check charts for appointments and obtain results and records
- Contact patients or labs to obtain information missing from the charts
- Scribe for Telemedicine appointments
- Provide instructions to include prescriptions and lab orders to each patient following their visit with the provider
- Load ultrasound results in EHR
- Manage incoming patient calls and assist with coordinating testing
- Obtain prior authorizations for medications
- Assist the Provider with in office procedures
- Sterilize rooms between patients
- Stock supplies both clerical and medical
- Filing
- Manage incoming calls
- Pull charts for clinic schedules
- Attention to detail

- Bachelors degree a plus
