Currently, our rapidly expanding team and site network is looking for a Medical Assistant who can work for us on a full-time, permanent basis, supporting us on-site, within Mesa, AZ.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Abide by GCP, SOPs, company guidelines, and local healthcare privacy regulations
• Maintain professional relationships with study participants, physicians, industry representatives and vendors of trial management
• Coordinate the flow of patients in the examination and treatment areas between CRPs
• Support collection of demographics, medical history, medications, vital signs and anthropometric measurements
• Perform phlebotomy and support any processing, storage, and shipment requirements for the lab specimens as required by site
• Complete the requisition, collection, labeling, storage, and shipment of lab specimens
• Perform point of care tests as required by site i.e., nasal swabs, fibroscans, ECGs
• Assist in organizing patient waiting areas, exam rooms, laboratories, medication, and storage areas
• Maintain adequate stock of clinical instruments and supplies in exam rooms and lab area
• Assist with recruitment initiatives at the site
• Abide by HIPAA regulations under federal privacy regulations
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

• HS/GED/ Certified Medical Assistant or other medical training
• Clinical Research Certificate is preferred
