Job Summary:
Receives material by unloading carriers, verifying paperwork, visually checking tor damage and performing data entry transaction into a computerized business system. Inspects material utilizing standard test equipment, hand tools and other mechanical tools. Performs solderability testing on incoming and obsolete stores material. Unpacks material for storage or delivery to work centers, and moves material as directed.
Transports material within the Receiving, Incoming and Stores areas. Counts and weighs, measures, sorts, packages, and holds material for inventory, storage, issue, and release to manufacturing. Performs basic electrical inspection of purchased components to written procedures. Performs related data entry transactions for required tasks. Assists in physical inventory as directed. Assembles shipping containers and packages product for shipment according to contractual requirements. Loads, braces, and secures outgoing shipments onto carriers. Cleans, services, and maintains assigned tools, equipment, and machinery and work areas. Controls and releases tools and equipment to the work center, calibration lab and the respective tool cribs. Performs general maintenance and housekeeping of workplace, tools and equipment. Maintains records, moves materials and follows safety rules in performance of duties.
*1st Shift – 6:00am – 2:30pm - Andover, MA*
Required Skills:
Ability to obtain a Security Clearance, and an interim prior to start date
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
Desired Skills:
Experience in a manufacturing or logistics warehouse work environment
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent

Additional Details:
This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement. Wage and workplace conditions, including shift times, are subject to this agreement. Individuals hired into this position will be represented by a union.
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
