Briscoe Protective, a Pye Barker Fire & Safety / Fire Protection Service Corporation company, is hiring for a Material Planner in our Centereach, NY location.

Position Summary: The Material Planner will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and managing the materials and products used by our company.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack and ship merchandise or material
• Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material
• Maintain stock levels for our Service and Engineering Departments
• Ensure that all deliveries are completed as scheduled
• Deliver equipment to sites and or technicians as necessary
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Education & Required Skills:

• Experience in an administrative/office environment, specifically in shipping and receiving preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office software
• Highly organized
• Excellent attention to detail
• Able to prioritize and self-manage time effectively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude
• Knowledge in shipping software and methods a plus
• Ability to handle heavy lifting for packing, receiving, and shipping
• Valid Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
