Job description
Metals USA; Lynch division has a Material Handler/Packaging position in our Union, NJ location. The Material Handler under general supervision performs duties such as receiving, placing/returning items into stock inventory locations, order filling, inspecting, packing, loading and shipping and completing associated paperwork. May use hand-held electronic devices to track, code or mark merchandise. May require operation of forklift and will require the ability to operate an overhead crane. Requires basic reading comprehension and basic math skills. Typically an entry-level position.

Basic math Skills

Fluency in English

Ability to read measuring tapes and calipers

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Warehouse experience preferred

Experience working with Heavy Equipment preferred

Forklift experience preferred

Must have basic computer/data entry skills
